Please read and follow the steps below as they will help you stay safe while getting the most out of your candle.
• Place candle on a stable, flat, heat-safe surface
• Never leave a burning candle unattended
• Keep out of reach of children and pets
• Keep away from flammable objects, drafts and vents
• Always trim wick to ¼ inch each time before lighting
• Allow wax to melt to the edge of the glass on first use
• Burn for a maximum of 4 hours at a time
• Always keep melted wax pool free of debris
• If flame is too high or wick mushrooms; extinguish, trim wick, relight
• Never touch or move a burning candle as it will be very hot
• Discontinue use when ½ inch of wax remains at bottom
At this time, we only ship within Canada.
At this time, all standard orders are processed within 3-5 business days. Orders placed over the weekend are dispatched on Mondays. Once your order is ready, you will receive an email which will detail the shipping information including the tracking number.
Candles in the Country ships all orders using Canada Post but may sometimes use other courier services like UPS, Fedex, etc. Expedited shipping options are available for an increased shipping charge. Please email email@example.com to inquire about a shipping estimate.
For all standard orders, shipping is calculated at checkout and is based on size, weight and location.
We offer local delivery services for a flat of $5 for the following areas: Holland Landing, Sharon, Newmarket, Bradford, Innisfil, Keswick, Aurora, Schomberg. An email will be sent when the order is complete and delivery arrangements can be made. If you are unsure if your location falls under the local delivery area, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss.
Wrong or Incomplete Address
If your package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, you must pay all delivery costs to re-deliver your order to a corrected address. We are not responsible for the loss of your order if the address provided at checkout is incomplete or incorrect.
Delayed or Lost Orders
A parcel is considered lost after it has been in the postal system for a period of 15 business days. We cannot take responsibility for delays caused by the courier. Although orders normally take much less than that we are unable to dispatch a replacement until this period of time has elapsed.
At this time, we do not offer refunds or exchanges unless the product arrives damaged.
Your order must be opened within 7 days of receipt and please exercise caution if you believe there may be any broken glass.
Pictures of the damaged product in the packaging will be required and can be emailed to email@example.com along with your order number.
We will do our best to replace the damaged product, but if we are unable to replace it, a refund will be issued to the original method of payment.
We try our best to ensure the scent descriptions are as true as possible to the actual scent. However, scent can be subjective so please read the scent descriptions carefully and do not hesitate to contact us at the email detailed above with any questions you may have before making any purchases.
